Robin Joy Berenson, PhD, LMFT, has been a licensed Marriage and Family
Therapist since 1982, and in private practice since 1984. She received her
Doctorate in 1996. Since 1989, she has served as Executive and Clinical
Director of Community Institute for Psychotherapy. In this capacity, she
oversees all administrative and clinical operations, including the training
and supervision of 22-24 intern psychotherapists, and a clinical staff of more
than 90 mental health professionals. She provides consultation and training to
professionals in the fields of mental health and education. Dr. Berenson is
the author of, To Touch the Soul: The Therapeutic Use of Story Telling in Four Families.
